Golkonda Fort is a ruined city of south India and capital of ancient Kingdom of Golkonda (c.1518–1687), is situated 11 km west of Hyderabad. It is also a mandal of Hyderabad District.

Birla Mandir - Hyderabad

The Birla temple is built on a 280 feet high hillock called the Naubath Pahad.  The construction took 10 years and was consecrated in 1976 by Swami Ranganathananda of Ramakrishna Mission. The temple does not have traditional bells, as Swamiji wished that the temple atmosphere should be conducive for meditation.This temple is one of the most important religious place in India .
